The difference in our workshop every Monday at B &N and all the other excellent writing groups around is that we are interactive.  Our plan is to provide an arena where writers (published and not yet published) and people who want to be writers can hone their skills.  Being a writer today is more than being able to express thoughts on a page.  Even skill driven wordsmiths often are at a loss in crafting their career without additional assets.

Today's writer needs to be a speaker, know how to organize events, be able to set up blogs and run websites, and have a high level of computer skills.  In addition, after the actual writing is done, a writer has to market and drive the PR for their project.  Wow.  This can be overwhelming.

This is where the Write Ingredients Workshop comes in.  Here, every Monday night, you can sign up as a host or speaker for some of the workshops, arrange a mini event, practice a book signing, read some pages, find a critique group or start one of your own, and network with writers in a wide range of interests, ages, and experience.

The take away is that you get out about what you put in.  You learn by teaching, you get by giving.

Make time for your dreams.  Step out by faith.
